My Practical Support has been three years in the making. Having a unique understanding of the lack of practical support for people under age 70 is the reason My Practical Support was born.

It is a patent need internationally to support people during their medical journey in their home. Responsibilities do not cease, and treatment may take six to twelve months.

Completing a Masters of Applied Finance combined with more than 15 years in the media in senior management roles has been invaluable to establishing My Practical Support as the leading home care insurance brand.

After over 40 years in the insurance buisness and successfully managing his own brokerage, Chris is now the responsible manager for My Practical Support

I love all things technologically based so the decision to study a bachelor of computer science, majoring in artificial intelligence was an easy one. I am currently studying at the University of Queensland and was given an opportunity with My Practical Support in 2018.

I think what I love most about my work at My Practical Support is that the complexity of the job has really taken my skill-set to the next level and my hard work is recognised and showcased internationally, all whilst really making a difference in people’s lives.

I am a firm believer that when you work hard, you can achieve anything. We all have one goal and all strive to do our very best, all day, every day.

After years of experience in retail, I found myself wanting more from my job that’s where I found My Practical Support. As part of the customer care team here at My Practical Support, I’m lucky enough to work with an amazing team and interact with smart and lively co-workers. Previous roles in a retail management position has prepared me for this demanding office job and giving me the experience I need to continue on with my working career. My Practical Support gave me a chance to prove myself now why don’t you give us a chance to prove ourselves to you.

 

My most recent background consists of 15 years management experience in the Pharmaceutical and Pharmacy sector. I’ve held various sales and operations management titles throughout Australia for a variety of companies including the Coles Myer Group, Coca-Cola Amatil, Roche Products, Pharmacy Alliance and Roche Diagnostics. Furthermore I’ve completed a Medicines Australia accreditation through Deakin University, Melbourne.

Joining the team at My Practical Support was a decision I didn’t have to think twice about. After witnessing a close friend battle with cancer and having insight into the challenges he faced, I recognised the need for such an organisation and believe My Practical Support is a great, proactive approach to cover yourself if these events were to occur personally.

My fellow colleagues are passionate, enthusiastic and extremely experienced and along with our Channel partners we are able to provide the required products and services to those people diagnosed with a serious medical condition when returning home after their medical treatment.
